Top 5 European teams that are still supporting the Super League

With the proposal of the European Super League, the Real Madrid president, Fiorentino Perez received a lot of criticism against his ideology of bringing together all the elite and rich clubs in football to play together in a separate competition. This was against the true essence of football and was highly protested against by the fans of the sport from across the globe.

The idea started out with a lot of potential as various clubs seemed eager to join this win-for-all deal until the fans intervened. After receiving backlash, all 6 top Premier League clubs withdrew their membership from this plan. These are the top 5 clubs that are still supporting the Super League

Real Madrid- Introduced by their club president, Real Madrid would naturally be in support of the competition. The Los Blancos have been doing well in both La Liga and the Champions League but still, look forward to clenching a different tournament.

Juventus- The Italian giants are also in massive support of the Super League. They have been with the motion ever since it began and have kept their stance clear.

FC Barcelona- Another European giants, FC Barcelona were one of the earliest teams in Europe to agree to terms and include themselves in this plan. President Joan Laporte has himself expressed support for the competition along with rival president Perez.

Atletico Madrid- The third Spanish club on the list, Atletico Madrid was also impressed with the idea of having another league and was determined to stick with the concept as the club saw itself in a totally bigger umbrella.

AC Milan- One of the most historic clubs in Europe, AC Milan was also in full support of the Super League when it was implemented. Although, they have been a big part of the plan since 1987 when the Italians, Real Madrid, and Glasgow Rangers together planned a league competition similar to this concept.
