CODY RHODES VS. SETH "FREAKIN" ROLLINS - The saga we never thought we would get
Cody Rhodes made his miraculous WWE return at Wrestlemania this year, marking his comeback after 6 years.
At the grandest spectacle, Rhodes and Rollins gave everyone a match to remember for ages. The American Nightmare executed three Cross-Rhodes to defeat Seth Rollins.
In a rematch from their Wrestlemania encounter, both men entered Backlash prematurely anticipating each other's tactics. Rollins was looking a lot prepared this time, until Rhodes pulled out a surprise roll-up victory.
Coming out dissatisfied with the outcome at Backlash, a Hell in a Cell match was scheduled between them. Despite having torn up his right pectoral muscle, Cody Rhodes displayed unreal valour and defeated Seth Rollins for the third time.
Even though Seth Rollins came out empty handed by the end of their trilogy, fans really enjoyed every bit of it. Both men ensured compelling story narration alongside elite-class in ring performances. The story may not be over just yet.
