5. Michael Kirkham 

Michael Kirkham was making his professional debut in a MMA promotion in Aiken, South California. Unfortunately, his debut match didn't go according to his plan and got brutally destroyed by his opponent. He died on June 28,2010 and doctors concluded that he died due to the impact of the blows he received on his head during his debut match.

4. Tyrone Mims

Tyrone Mims died at the age of 30 while competing for an MMA promotion in South Carolina. The cause of his death is still shrouded in mystery. During the second round, he complained about being very exhausted, which caused the referee to suspend the fight. Later, as he was walking to the locker room, he passed out and was never revived. Doctors later suspected heart failure to be the reason for his death but the real cause of his death never surfaced.

3. Donshay White

Donshay White was 37 years old when he was knocked out in the second round of an amateur heavyweight fight in Kentucky against Ricky Muse. Shortly after the fight, he collapsed behind the stage and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he didn't survive; it was later discovered that he had forgotten to take his hypertension medication that day, and he passed away from hypertensive heart disease.

2. Rondel Clark

At the time of his death, Rondel Clark was only 26 years old. He was competing in Plymouth, Massachusetts against Ryan Dunn, was knocked out in round three. He showed signs of exhaustion, and was taken to the hospital. His kidneys failed shortly after, which was attributed to the fact that he was highly dehydrated.

Mateus Fernandes was only 22-year-old when he died while competing in an MMA match in Manaus. He had a great start, winning the first two rounds. However, in the third round, he went down, began to faint, and passed away in the hospital. Doctors reported that he had four heart attacks prior to passing away. There was speculation that Fernandes had been using drugs during the fight, which contributed to his death.
