The Last StyleBender has been one the most dominant resumes as the Middleweight champion boasting a unbeaten record in the division. But all of that is under threat.
Alex Pereira, the man who is a serious threat to the UFC Middleweight Champion is all set to face him at the main event of UFC 281. He is the only fighter to ever knockout the current champion.
Adesanya and Pereira know each other from their kickboxing days and meet each other on two separate occasions. Both of which has not ended well for Adesanya.
First they met each other inside the ring at the event "Glory of Heroes 1" back in 2016. Where Pereira was declared the winner after three rounds via Unanimous Decision.
Then they again met each other in 2017 at "Glory of Heroes 7." Where Adesanya again tasted defeat at the hands of Pereira when he got knocked out by a vicious left hook in the third round.
Adesanya transitioned into MMA after that, and became the UFC champion, but his arch-nemesis chased him down, and now they're all set to face each at the main event of UFC 281 for the middleweight title.
