Tyler Reddick ENVIES the ‘special treatment’ Kyle Busch is getting from RCR

Tyler Reddick replaced Kyle Busch in the No:8 RCR ride following the former’s move to 23X1 Racing.

The veteran received special treatment from Reddick’s old No:8 crew. Reddick is jealous of it

“...I never really asked for it, but I didn’t think it was on the table when I was there. I’m kind of jealous of it,” Tyler Reddick said in the Door Bumper Clear podcast.

Reddick added: “Kyle certainly is a driver that hasn’t gone over the hump yet. He’s still in his prime...I feel like I left RCR better than I found it,”.

Reddick had an impressive 2022 season as he secured his first three career cup race wins this season in the No:8 Camaro ZL1.

On the other hand, Kyle Busch had an under-par year as he was able to secure just one with JGR, which came as a result of Reddick crashing out in the final lap of the Bristol dirt race.

Both drivers are hoping for a new start in 2022. Reddick is pressured to fill the boots of Kyl’s older brother Kurt Busch, who will run part time for 23X1 next year.
