In 2012, Jon Jones had an accident when he drove his Bentley through a pole in New York. Jones was later found guilty and was charged $ 1000 fine for it. His driver's license also got suspended for six months.
Jones was coming off his UFC 178 win over Cormier and seemed to be riding high when he again found himself arrested in Albuquerque. Jones was charged with a felony of leaving the scene after hitting a pregnant woman. He was also accused of having a marijuana pipe in the vehicle.he was sentenced to 18 months of probation and community service.
A waitress claimed that Jones hit and assaulted her. Following this, he was charged with battery. However, Jones pleaded no contest to the charge and had to face a 90-day probation.
Jon was arrested for the fourth time since 2012 in September of 2021. He was charged with battery domestic violence and injuring or tampering with a vehicle by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. Video footage was released from his arrest in which the former UFC champion was seen headbutting a police car.
Surprisingly just before his arrest in the year 2021, Jones got inducted into the UFC hall of fame. Jones stated. “This is so humiliating. I got the Hall of Fame tonight" while getting arrested.
