The Premier League over the years has produced many an exceptional player. Whether it be goalkeepers, defenders, midfielder or the forward players. It has successfully managed to produce players of the highest quality. And when you talk about Premier League legends, you have to include Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry in your discussion.

The hall of fame is probably the greatest respect you can give to a player. It signifies and acknowledges their contribution to the game and how they’ve excelled at it. Two modern day greats of the Premier League – Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry become the first to be inducted into the premier league hall of fame.
Alan Shearer, probably the greatest goal scorer the league has ever seen has. a rightful place in the hall of fame.
He remains as the Premier League’s highest ever goalscorer with 260 goals to his name in 441 appearances. Moreover he’s the only player to reach 100+ goals for two Premier League clubs.
When you look at some of the unbelievable players to have graced the Premier League – week in, week out, year in, year out – I feel very honoured to join the Hall of Fame. I have to thank all of my team-mates, as well as the managers and coaches that I’ve worked with.
The other to be inducted needs no introduction. It’s none other than the French genius Thierry Henry. Henry is one of the most decorated Arsenal players of all time and rightly so. On his day, Thierry Henry could decimate any team.
He overcomed Ian Wright to become Arsenal’s all time goalscorer and has a record 228 goals to his name. He scored 20+ goals in five successive seasons between 2001 and 2006.
When I was young, I was just trying to make sure I could get a pair of boots and now we’re talking about the Hall of Fame. During my career I wanted to play hard and make sure I was fighting for the cause, because that’s all the fans want to see.
