Andrade thanked WWE fans and officials

News of Andrade’s release has been doing the rounds since the wrestler asked for his release from the company. Initially his request was rejected, but a few hours ago his release was announced on WWE’s Twitter account.

Andrade posted his first tweet since his release from WWE. El Idolo thanked WWE’s Triple H, Paul Heyman and William Regal for their support throughout the years. He even thanked his co-workers and the entire WWE Universe for their support.

Moments after posting his tweet, Andrade posted another tweet to mention that he was super happy. He wrote that he has a happy life and a happy wife.

Andrade was off TV for over five months

Plans for teaming up Andrade with Charlotte Flair were cancelled

Andrade was last seen on WWE TV in October 2020. He was attacked by The Fiend, moments after he suffered a loss to Angel Garza. After that Andrade never stepped inside the WWE ring.

There were plans of involving Andrade into the Charlotte Flair – Ric Flair storyline. Charlotte and Andrade are a real-life couple, and he was supposed to support The Queen in the angle. But Lacey Evans’ pregnancy led to an abrupt end for the storyline.

Andrade has finally left WWE. Now his fans will be hopeful that Andrade gets signed by a major wrestling promotion. Andrade is currently under a 90-day non-compete clause.
