The news broke in the blog on the official website by Chad Grenier, the game director of Apex Legends. The game has been ongoing for a long time and, based on their early impressions, the hard work was profitable because Apex Legends Mobile deserves a AAA mobile game.

The first Mobile testing of Apex Legends Mobile is done in the countries of India and the Philippines as per sources said earlier, while PUBG has been totally banned in India for over a year. Apex Legends Mobile: Alternative to PUBG Mobile?

While fans of the franchise want the government and Krafton to bring it back, other developers are trying their best to capitalize on PUBG Mobile’s absence, and Apex Mobile by Electronic Arts has managed to generate quite the buzz since its initial announcement.

Apex Legends Mobile is one of the most awaited titles in the mobile battle royale segment, currently dominated by games like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and COD Mobile. But in India, people are looking for an equally engaging alternative, which has led various big names in the gaming industry to try to satisfy the demand. It is now Electronic Arts that is coming with Apex Legends for the mobile platform.

Similar to its computer and console version, the game will be free-to-play for everyone similar to PUBG Mobile. “Yep, like PC and console, Apex Legends Mobile is free-to-play and never includes paid items that grant a gameplay advantage,” says EA. However, there will be in-game items for purchase in the form of Battle Passes, collectible cosmetics, and unlockables unique from those found in the PC and console versions of Apex Legends.

“Because Apex Legends Mobile is being built especially for mobile, it won’t feature cross-play with the console or PC versions of Apex Legends,” says EA in its press release. Apex Legends is not just looking to draw a larger crowd base but is also focused on retaining it. Thus, its in-game reward system is much better than what PUBG offers. Micro-transactions make up a large part of PUBG’s income, as players have to spend money to gain rare skins and outfits. Apex Legends, however, gives free items and cosmetics every time gamers play.

With PUBG Mobile’s genre is filling up with new rivals from the Battlefield and Apex Legends franchise soon, Apex Legends Mobile in India might as well serve as an Alternative to PUBG Mobile in the broader spectrum.
