Arsenal reopens their London Colney ground for training: Reports

Premier League club continued to observe social distancing protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic. But now on Monday, Arsenal reopened their London Colney training ground to first team players for individual training.

Alexandre Lacazette who is a France striker, Brazil defender David Luiz and Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka were seen handling the facilities in the North of London.

Arsenal’s Spanish manager Mikel Arteta was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus on March 12. Football in England has been suspended indefinitely and no clubs have been training.

As the UK has announced complete lockdown till 7 May, the Premier league has also been postponed till 30th April.

Sky Sports said, “the league is looking at a potential restart in June with an eye on finishing the remaining nine rounds of fixtures in July, albeit without spectators in attendance.” The club will be resume the trainings in the next month.

On coming Friday, all 20 teams will discuss the matter in a conference.
