Newly appointed Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman hasn’t mentioned Arturo Vidal in his list of players he’s considering moving forward. The Chilean international has been linked with a move to Serie A club Juventus but has made it absolutely clear he won’t be joining Real Madrid. Inter Milan too will be looking to swoop in on a move as it is well known Antonio Conte rates Vidal highly.

Arturo Vidal has slashed out at the current Barcelona squad after their humbling exit in this year’s Champions League at the hands of FC Bayern Munich and cited that there are only ’13 professional players’ in FC Barcelona at the moment and that is not enough for a club with such a great stature. He has urged the players to step up as he believes that the results in the past 3 years have not been upto the mark as Barca has been continuously knocked out of the knockout stages.

Vidal on the Messi transfer saga

Lionel Messi has been the talk on twitter and news since his reported talks of exit. Arturo Vidal has now given his thoughts on Lionel Messi. Vidal believes that Messi has the key and pivotal role but unless and until other players come and support him it will be of no use. He said, “ The best team in the world cannot have 13 professional players. You cannot always win with DNA. Messi is the best in the world, an extraterrestrial, but he needs help so that better results can be achieved.”

While speaking about his own career he kept it no secret that his time at FC Barcelona was coming to an end “I have never understood placing the players with that word [transferable]. It is very ugly. If a player wants to leave or you want to sell him, find him a team but don’t say so. It is to pass it on, and each person needs respect.I am in a situation of being thrown away to see if someone wants to receive me.”
