On Sunday, Asian Games gold medal-winning former boxer Dingko Singh is found positive for novel coronavirus and he is already battling from Liver cancer.
Last month, the 41-year-old flew to the national capital to undergo radiation therapy and once again returned to his home state of Manipur after suffering from jaundice disease.
“He was negative when he left from Delhi but has tested positive on his return to Manipur,” said source.
The swashbuckling former bantamweight boxer won the gold medal in the 1998 edition of Asian Games in Bangkok. He is recipient of the Prestigious Awards like Arjuna and Padma Shri Award.
