Atalanta vs Inter Milan: Atalanta host Inter Milan at the Gewiss Stadium on matchday 22 of Serie A.

Inter return stays to the top of the Serie A  with a draw. The hosts and the visitors really gave their best to score. Atalanta also remains in the same position of the table

Juan Musso (GK) (7/10): Juan Musso did really more than better tonight as he saved a bunch of times.

José Luis Palomino (6.5/10): A decent performance from Palomino who was great in the air and didn’t give his opponents any space to work with.

Merih Demiral (7.5/10): Ending his night early with a subpar performance, Merih Demiral had a really bad touch, early in the game which resulted in a goal for Villarreal and put the hosts on the back foot really early in the game.

Berat Djimsiti (7/10): Toloi had a decent performance as he was able to monitor his flank well and link well with the attack.

Teun Koopmeiners (7.5/10): Joakim Mæhle was really important to Atalanta’s attack as he even managed to get himself an assist.

Remo Freuler (7/10): A great ball progressor, Remo Frueler who had a good game was instrumental to Atalanta’s midfield.

Marten de Roon (6.5/10): De Roon played decently as he cut out passing lanes and linked up well with the attack before being subbed out.

Giuseppe Pezzela (6.5/10): Hans Hateboer had a decent evening as he linked up well with the defense and attack before being subbed out at half-time.

Matteo Pessina (6/10): Ending his night early, Matteo Pessina with an average performance was subbed out at half-time. He put in some nice tackles but would’ve liked to contribute more in the attack.

Mario Pasalic  (7.5/10): Duvan Zapata had a couple of opportunities to score but the winger was not successful to score tonight.

Luis Muriel (8/10): Muriel was a constant problem for    Inter’s backline as he was constantly looking for an incisive pass but didn’t get any result of that.

Roberto Picoli (7.5/8): Picoli tried was definitely tried for Atalanta but didn’t manage to grab a goal after being subbed on at half-time.

S. Handanovic (5.5/10): The goalkeeper played a decent game, made some good saves but was scored past once.

Danilo D’Ambrosio (6/10): The center-back was very solid in the defense making some important blocks and stops. His tracking back was also very good but also missed the golden chance to score

M.Skrniar (6/10): Skriniar was also very solid in the defense making some excellent last-second tackles.

A Bastoni (5.5/10): The center-back,s performance was very impressive but he did play some good passes.

Hakan Calhanoglu  (6/10): The left midfielder was good in his off-the-ball movement, finding spaces on the right flank. He also managed a couple of shots at the goal.

N. Barella (6/10): The center midfielder was very agile and carried the ball with ease in the midfield. He played some very impressive passes and arrived in the box quite a few times.

M.Brozovic (6/10): The central midfielder time on the pitch was filled with some good pressing and link-up play from defense to attack.

Ivan Perisic(6.5/10): The Croatian midfielder was very impressive on the ball and played some excellent passes. He also made some good interceptions and carried the ball well.

Matteo Darmian  (5/10): The center midfielder could not do anything special on the pitch today. Although he was able to hold onto the ball, quite a few times.

Alexis Sanchez  (7.5/10): The Bosnian midfielder played a very ordinary game. He could have created quite a few chances but could not capitalize.

E.Dzeko (7/10): The  Striker was probably the most effective player on the pitch for the home side with his excellent movement off the ball and his impressive ball movement. He was able to shoot at goal quite a few times.

Substitutes:

Lautaro Martinez (5/10): The striker tried his best to bring some impact in the game but could not succeed. Although, he played some good passes with his teammates.

A.Vidal  (6/10): The midfielder was effective after coming off from the bench, carried the ball well into the opposition half and put crosses into the box. Played some fantastic passes too.
