From being one of India’s brightest hopes at the Tokyo Olympics to winning the nation’s first Olympic medal in track and field events, Neeraj Chopra has come a long way in the last month or so. While Neeraj’s surreal feat in Tokyo made him a household name in the country, the ace javelin thrower has gained immense popularity on social media.
Ever since his historic feat at the Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj has had a packed schedule of felicitations and functions. The latest addition to the list is the reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). Neeraj Chopra along with fellow Olympic medallist PR Sreejesh is set to appear on the show’s special segment ‘Shandaar Shukravaar’.
Neeraj Chopra recreates Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic dialogue
In the latest promo of the upcoming episode, Neeraj and PR Sreejesh could be seen having a good laugh with the megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the host of the show. “Aaj humlog aye hain donor aapko Haryanvi seekhane (Today we’ve come to teach you Haryanvi),” Sreejesh is heard telling Amitabh Bachchan. To which Amitabh Bachchan reacts, “Hey bhagwaan (Oh my god).”
Neeraj Chopra translates Amitabh’s iconic dialogue from Zanjeer, where his character Vijay tells Pran, “Yeh police station hai tumhare baap ka ghar nahi.” Neeraj is heard saying, “Yeh tere baap ka ghar koni, thana hai, chup chaap khada reh (This is not your father’s house but a police station. Don’t utter a word and keep standing).”
The anecdotes of the Olympic medallist duo is all set to steal the show when the episode airs. In the promo, both Neeraj and Sreejesh could be seen confidently navigating through the myriad of questions Big B puts in front of them.
