“We would take two weeks from the gym just to re-tone”: Usain Bolt

Needless to say, what Bolt has achieved requires a lot of hard work and unending dedication. Recently, Bolt made a couple of revelations about he used to stay in shape for an extended period of time. He claimed that when his muscles got too big, he and his trainer Glen Mills would pause his gym routine for a few weeks.
“We would take two weeks from the gym just to re-tone,” Bolt told The Insider. Moreover, putting emphasis on how necessary it was to maintain a healthy body, Bolt said, “If you get too big, then your muscles get too tight. And if your muscles get too tight, there’s one of two things that’s going to happen. Either you’re going to get injured or you’re going to slow down.“
This goes on to show how insanely in love Bolt was with his dream of becoming the absolute best in the game. Although the champion player couldn’t win the last race of his professional career, he sure gave the generations to come a very stiff record to get past.
