Veteran sprinter Usain Bolt has reckoned that his old friend Prince Harry is no longer in touch with him after the latter ‘got really serious, really quickly” with Meghan Markle. The Duke of Sussex tied the knot with the Suits-starrer American actress in May 2018 at the St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom.
Prince Harry, 37, and the Olympic legend, 35, became friends back in 2012 when the former toured Jamaica on a four-day visit on behalf of the Queen. To this, the eight-time Olympics gold medal winner even went on to say that he hoped to organize the prince’s stag do in 2017. However, in a recent interaction with The Sun, Bolt revealed that he was ghosted by Prince Harry after he met the Duchess.
“I think he got really serious, really quickly. He is about married life and good for it now so has left that life behind now.
“I haven’t talked to him in a while but I still would like to keep in contact,” one of the most successful Olympians stated.

The mighty Jamaican athlete is known for his frank and happy go lucky attitude. Last year, when quizzed about the Royal couple, Bolt didn’t shy away from sharing his opinion on the two and gave them the nod of approval. While he was disappointed that he didn’t get to “party” with them, the ‘Lightning Bolt’ feels that they make a good pair.
“I think everybody is happy because he’s always the wild one of the Royal Family, but he’s really cool. I’m sorry I didn’t get to party with him before. She’s definitely a nice girl,” he told in a conversation Hello! Magazine.
