Former World Number 1 tennis player, Andy Murray is maybe not ready for a comeback yet. He said “I’ve just not been able to sustain a high level for long enough,” as quoted by Metro. The reason behind this is his injuries.

Struggling through his hip injury, Murray stepped again to a start at ‘Battle of the Brits’, an exhibition event in the UK. But on Sunday, the 33-year-old pulled out from the event because of some ‘issues with his shins.’ The final between Evans and Kyle Edmund will follow that match. This has led to a setback in Murray’s 2020 year; he was yet to begin back.

Murray won three Grand Slams before his hip surgery in 2018 and since that happened the Scot has struggled to return to form. According to him, he is sure of his game but needs a little time and practice to jump back on the track.

In 2019, three times Grand Slam Champion was miserable, he told the media that he may have to say goodbye to the sport. His hip was in such a bad condition that he was struggling to even go about his daily routine.
