I’m lucky to be able to play with all these guys, Australian Alex De Minaur praises Rafa and Federer

This duo leads the all-time Grand Slam leaderboard, with 20 and 19 titles respectively, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are two of the biggest names in the tennis world.

The duo has achieved heights, being the only pair to clash in three successive Roland Garros and Wimbledon in as many years they have appeared in atleast five Grand Slams finals at all the four Majors.

Moreover, they’ve flown with beautiful colours and hold a plethora of the other records in the sport as well.

Among endless young players in this field have grown up watching the BIG3, the other bring Novak Djokovic, out of which one such player is, Alex De Minaur.

“I’m lucky to be able to play with all these guys that I saw playing growing up. Whenever there was a Roger-Rafa final during a Grand Slam tournament, I watched them over and over again,” said the Australian player in a recent interview.

The rivalry between the two is the most enticing in the history of sports, and have even clashed in several title matches of the biggest tournaments.

De Minaur continued, “these are the matches that made me hungry and want to fulfill my tennis player dreams. It is thanks to them that I try to keep improving so that one day I can be in their situation.”
