As per Forbes, our Swiss maestro, Roger Federer is not just the highest-earning athlete in the world but has also established himself as one of the most recognizable faces in tennis, and in sports overall. The 20 time Grand Slam champion has gained an incredibly large fan following, with scores of devotees in every corner and nook of the global.

On the other hand, it’s been years now that the BIG 3, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer have been raging for The Greatest of All Time, (GOAT) debate.

The 39-year-old, Federer currently holds 20 Grand Slams followed by the 34-year-old Nadal who holds 19 and then comes our World No.1, Djokovic at the age of 34 with 17 Slams. Following the age gap and his skipping the upcoming season due to his knee surgery it is a great opportunity for both Federer’s contemporaries to overtake him.

Keeping the numbers aside for a minute, there is no doubt at all the all time great, Federer holds a most special place in the heart of fans.
And till date is the most loved tennis player to ever held a racquet.

Cristian Sonzogni and Gabriele Riva, Italian authors have written a book on Roger’s journey from temperamental teenager to 20 time Grand Slam champion, loosely being described as a ‘Dictionary on Roger Federer’.

The book will mark the superstar’s career highlights against the backdrop of changes in the sports of tennis.

This new book titled ‘Federer Files: Gli anni di Roger – Dizionario tematico di una leggenda’ (Federer Files: Roger years- Thematic dictionary of a legend) has a unique take on the subject. As a Swiss maestro has now become a sub-genre for tennis writers.

As reported by Ubitennis, the book’s authors tackle the evolution of tennis as a whole which is seen through the lens of its greatest ever superstar.

“A book that tells the legend of tennis through the analysis of Roger Federer’s achievements. A real thematic dictionary that takes the reader into the universe of those who according to numbers and fans, have become the best tennis player in the history,” said Cristian Sonzogni.

He added, “By lining up and rationalizing what incredible things the Swiss legend has managed to do, we perceive the extraordinary nature of the era that we have lived and that we are still experiencing in part.”

Save the date, as the book is all ready to release on July 6, and is already available on Amazon for pre-orders (only the Italian edition). English, German and French editions are not announced yet.
