Medvedev is coming into the semi-finals of the Australian Open high on confidence as he had beaten his countryman and good friend, Andrey Rublev in straight sets. The scoreline of the match was 7-5, 6-3, 6-2. Other than the match against Filip Krajinovic in the 3rd round which was a 5 setter, the Russian has looked good throughout the tournament and will be hoping to continue his good form against his encounter with Tsitsipas.
