Defending champions Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury took on Filip Polasek and Ivan Dodig in the Men’s Doubles Finals Of the Australian Open 2021. The Ram/Salisbury duo was the favorite going into the match. However, Dodig/Polasek played tremendously well and took the win.

The match was won by Dodig/Polasek with a score of 6-3,6-4.

The first set started with Dodig/Polasek taking the lead by winning the first game. The other duo managed to get it to a tie at 1-1 and continued until Dodig/Polasek took the lead with 5-3 and took the set with 6-3.

The second set started with the Ram/Salisbury taking the first game. The set like the previous one went into a tie for the majority of the set. But Dodig/Polasek took the lead with 5-3, Ram/Salisbury tried to get back ahead but a misplaced shot gave the ste and match to Dodig/Polasek with a score of 6-4.

In the accepting ceremony, The champions thanked the organizers and the audience. They also said that they hope that things return to normal soon. They also praised their opponents and wished them luck for the rest of the season.
