PV Sindhu has been the talk of the town ever since her stunning show at the Tokyo Olympics. Featuring in only her second Olympic Games, the ace shuttler bagged her second Olympic medal. Sindhu won a bronze medal toppling He Bing Jiao of China in straight sets, 21-13, 21-15 to win an Olympic medal for the second time in a row.
Ever since her historic performance at the Tokyo Olympics, Sindhu has been rewarded in ceremonies all around the country. Having attended a flurry of functions, the ace shuttler finally found some time out to enjoy a lovely evening with Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The trio was spotted at a plush restaurant, Bastian, in Mumbai.
PV Sindhu’s biopic coming up?
Reports suggest that Sindhu met Deepika to sign a deal. The reports further suggest that deal was surrounding a biopic on the ace shuttler which will be produced by Deepika, who is all set to star in the film. The Bollywood actress is the daughter of ace badminton star Prakash Padukone and is a great choice for the power-packed role.
Having shined at the Tokyo Games, Sindhu is all set to feature in the upcoming Sudirman Cup. The two-time Olympic medallist along with Saina Nehwal, Kadambi Srikanth, and Sai Praneeth will lead the Indian side in the tournament which is scheduled to be held from September 26, 2021 to October 3, 2021. The tournament will take place in Vantaa, Finland.
