Barcelona and bayern to compete for ajax fullback Sergino Dest

Ajax fullback and USA international Sergino Dest is one of the main transfer target for FC Barcelona this transfer window. After the horrifying 8-2 loss against bayern in champions league last season Barcelona are looking to improve their squad with new fresh faces and sergino Dest has become one of their prime targets.

As some reports say Nelson Semedo may well be on his way to the premier league emerging powerhouse wolves. However the deal will not be that easy to get done as another European giants Bayern Munich are competing with them to sign the US international youngster.

Bayern already strengthened their attack by adding Leroy sane from city and are now looking to strengthen their back line. The departure of  Odriozola back to Madrid is the main reason why BAYERN wants to sign the american full back. Dest looks like the perfect backup of pavard right now.

The financial crisis of FC Barcelona

Both the teams are ready to get the ajax fullback but Bayern are looking favorites right now. According to many reports Barcelona are struggling due to financial limitations posed by the spanish state because of corona pandemic. This is the main reason why Barcelona sold their squad players like Vidal, Rakitic and reportedly Luis Suarez. They are trying to get some money for Dest and also stay in the Transfer guidelines given by the the spanish state.

On the other hand, Bayern have no such limitations and are ready for the deal. ajax are waiting for the best deal taking the advantage of the competition for the American.

Ajax reportedly want £25 for the player as for now bayern looks to be the favorites among the two clubs. They already sold thiago for the same amount of fee but due to the good relations between ajax and fc barcelona there is nothing guaranteed at the moment.

According to sources the deal is still open to both the clubs of they provide the right amount of fee for the agreement.
