Barcelona Set to Resume Training After First Team Players Test Negative For COVID-19

All the players of football club Barcelona are tested negative for coronavirus disease as they all set to begin their training session from this weeks onwards.

But only forward player Ousmane Dembele was not tested for coronavirus as he is out with an injury. Now, on May 11, he will be undergoing the COVID-19 test.

As we know that all the sporting events has come to halt due to coronavirus pandemic including Spanish football competition, La Liga has been also suspended since March and no official dates has been announced so far when the competition will be return.

Recently, Spanish government granted permission to all the club’s of La Liga to resume their training in the coming week.

“The football first team will be back at the Ciutat Esportiva on Wednesday for the relevant medical tests ahead of starting training individually in the coming days,” the club had said in a statement.

Before the suspension of La Liga competition, Barcelona was placed at the top in the ranking.
