Battlegrounds Mobile India has broken all speculations of new battle royale games coming to India or the return of once existing ones by suggesting that PUBG Mobile India could be potentially renamed to Battlegrounds Mobile India. In a recent development, the PUBG Mobile India official website has linked to a new creative asset, and even released a trailer with a new name, all pointing to a launch very soon.
The creative found suggests the Indian version of PUBG Mobile will likely be named “Battlegrounds Mobile India”. PUBG Mobile India teasers had come out first ahead of Diwali last year but the launch has not taken place yet. The new poster creative was found via an embedded link to a video on Vimeo which previously hosted the Diwali Coming Soon creative. Now that we also have a trailer, we can’t fall short of the idea that it might take just a little more waiting for us to bear the sweet fruit.
Let’s find out more about the exciting overalls that might soon give a good news for Indians.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is the New PUBG Mobile for India:
PUBG Mobile India might launch as Battlegrounds Mobile India, the named company has changed to in all the official handles including Facebook and YouTube, just ahead of the launch. The developers have been trying hard for the past few months to launch the battle royale in India, the launch date of which is currently unknown, although it is expected to launch very soon with the teaser being released just today. PUBG Mobile was banned last year in India owing to data security concerns.
PUBG Mobile is a popular mobile battle royale title in many regions around the world. Since the game was banned in India in September last year, many Indian players have tried to play the PUBG Mobile Korean version instead because its servers are not restricted. But soon the scenario may change, owing to recent revelations and research done by gemwire:
Gemwire did new research on this website and found out some important changes made to the background image. Their team analyzed the source code and found links to a new creative asset added to the website. This change could potentially mean that PUBG Mobile India is being renamed Battlegrounds Mobile India. The significance of this potential change could not be speculated for now but after the recent trailer leak from the social media handles of PUBG Mobile India, it could be assumed that PUBG Mobile India is undergoing some new changes.
According to Gemwire, “The new video file was named “India Recall Campaign Motion_v02.mp4”. On checking, the domain “battlegroundsmobileindia. in” has also been registered on April 7th by Krafton.Inc. This suggests a new announcement regarding a change looks to be around the corner.” The names Facebook and YouTube channels of PUBG Mobile India have not been changed and only the links to these handles are affected so far. The complete name change is expected to follow soon as these links redirect to the official handles and the Facebook nametag is changed as well.
Here’s the tweet detailing on the same:
While there have not still been any official announcements made by PUBG Mobile India and neither has the names changed other than linkages to handles, all of these events are arousing special interests from the public and are successful enough to create the hype we needed about our long lost gem of a battle royale from the public.
