Bellator 271 just went down and a stunning fight in Cris Cyborg vs Sinead Kavanagh in the main event. The fight took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Cris Cyborg, 36, showed the world why she is the most dominant Bellator featherweight fighter once again today. The fighter took on Irish MMA fighter Sinead Kavanagh at the main event of Bellator 271 and went on to put on a dominating performance. Heading into the fight, Cyborg was a clear favorite with 30-1 odds against her Irish opponent.

The former UFC fighter did not take too long to end the fight against Kavanagh as she absolutely blitzed the Irish fighter with a barrage of punches after she dropped the fighter in the first round. Cyborg won the fight via knockout in Round 1 – 1:32. With this win, Cyborg extended her amazing run in the Bellator to 4-0. Meanwhile, Kavanagh has a record of 7-5 in the MMA with all her 5 defeats coming inside the Bellator.

After the first-round KO, Twitter was hyped to see the most violent woman fighter step in the octagon. The Hard Rock Hotel Casino was lit up after Cyborg’s first-round blitz. This is the third consecutive title defense for Cris in the Bellator featherweight division.

The current lightweight champion of the Bellator was all praise for Cyborg. Patricky Freire offered the nickname Pitbull to the woman featherweight champion after her first-round KO. “Your name should be pitbull, congratulations champion you are a phenomenon,” said Patricky Pitbull.

Several reporters like Aaron Bronsteter and Ariel Helwwani reacted to the amazing performance by Cyborg. With one of the biggest stars in MMA, Kayla Harrison now as a free agent, Cyborg also accepted to fight Harrison in the Bellator one day.
