“I think he’s got a lot of talent, if he comes to Chelsea, working with the group there. In Brendan he’s got a great manager and a great team up at Leicester. But Chelsea’s a step up from Leicester.

Joe Cole claims Benjamin Chilwell as a perfect fit for the Blues. Cole feels there would be an immense room of improvement for the 23-year-old under Frank Lampard.

“I know they are sitting above Chelsea in the table at the moment but having the opportunity to work with Frank and improve would be immense for him.

“He’s got the left-back position for England in his hands at the moment.

“My advice would be to keep performing, keep consistent and if he does do that, he can be England’s left-back and, if he does come to Chelsea, Chelsea’s left-back for many years. He’s a terrific player, a real talent.”

Ben Chilwell was also the part of UEFA Nations League England squad which claimed the 3rd position in the competition. He made his debut for England on 11 September, as a 79th-minute substitute for Danny Rose in a 1–0 home win. Since then he has played 11 matches for the England side.

Chelsea are also trying to aim at Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig for Werner this coming transfer period.

Yesterday, Chelsea defeated Aston Villa with a prolific comeback resulting in a 2-1 victory for the Blues.

Chelsea faces Manchester City in their upcoming fixture this Friday, 26th June.
