Jon Jones has been beefing up, in a bid to kickstart his UFC Heavyweight career with a bang. He has put on so much muscle and mass, that he almost looks unrecognizable. He is expected to take on the winner of the rematch between Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and number one heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou.

Jon has also been spending his free time, involving himself in various shooting activities, since he is a gun enthusiast. More recently, he posted a video of himself on Instagram, shooting a wild boar from a helicopter with a rifle and then going on to fire more shots at its carcass. He was met with a flurry of negative comments, as many felt it was completely unnecessary to post a killing of an animal on social media. However, Jon later apologized, although with a subtle stinger.

Jon captioned the video, “One shot, one kill, lots of bacon. Was an honor [sic] hunting with medal of honor [sic] recipient Patrick Payne.”

Since, the video he posted was met with negative comments, Jon replied, also taking a cheeky dig at the haters saying, “I apologize if this video makes some of you guys uncomfortable, at the same time I’m excited for my shipment of meat to get to Albuquerque. I took my time with that first shot to make sure the animal did not suffer. Bet half you guys that are offended eats sausages and bacon on a daily basis.” [via TalkSport]
