TOM BRADY and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are attempting to win their 2nd straight super bowl. While their quest to repeat is well underway, it may be coming to an abrupt end as the LA Rams have walked into Tampa and have started to walk all over the Bucs.
It’s a game in which absolutely nothing has been going right for Tampa. They can’t get any offense going and they can’t seem to stop the red hot Rams offense. What’s worse is they keep shooting themselves in the foot with 2 crucial taunting penalties.
Tom Brady and the Bucs can’t keep it clean on the field
The first of the 2 penalties came against Ndamukong Suh after he got pressure on Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, he was not shy to get up in the signal-callers face and even pointed at him. Now of course that doesn’t sound like much but the NFL has been very clear about the taunting rule all season long. They won’t put up with any of it. The play moved the Rams much closer to the Bucs end zone and the drive ended in a touchdown for LA.
The second of the two penalties came against the Bucs future Hall of Famer, Tom Brady. Brady took a shot from Von Miller that resulted in a busted lip for him but no roughing the passer was called. Brady was livid about this getting in the face of the official and yelling at him about it. This resulted in the 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty which pushed Tampa out of field goal range. While they finished the drive in field goal range the kick was missed digging a deeper hole for the Bucs.
