Thomas Meunier 7/10

Commanded the right-hand side of the defense. Won duels against Kruse and distributed the ball well. Provided an assist to Haaland’s goal.

Jude Bellingham 6.5/10

Retained his place after a stunning UCL performance. However, he struggled a bit in this game and lacked pace in the counterattacks.

Axel Witsel 6.5/10

Provided much-needed stability in the middle of the park. Combined very well with Raphael and Dahud to set up the attacks and build up the momentum in the game.

M. Dahoud 6.5

Quite similar to his counterpart Witsel, he helped the team in building up the counterattacks. Lacked in creating from the middle of the park.

Marco Reus 8/10

Reus was immense from the right side of the pitch. He created a plethora of chances from the flank and was a constant threat from the wing. Could have scored by himself from the wing when put on through.

Donyell Malen 6/10

Quite an uneventful game from the forward. He tried to create and make things happen from the left but lacked the end product.

Erling Haaland 9/10

This man just can’t stop scoring. He scored the first goal with a well-taken header and scored his second with a neat left-footed strike from the box into the right bottom corner.

Scored an own goal. Made some sloppy passes as he had 66% of pass accuracy. Haaland won many aerial duels against him.

Robin Knoche 6/10

Distributed well early in the game. However as the game went on, Dortmund’s attack got the better of him.

Baumgartl 5/10

Marco Reus did give him some difficult moments. Lost the ball on many occasions which cause counter-attacks.

Niko Giesselman 6/10

Rani Khedira 6/10

Quite similar to Khedira, an end product was missing in the final third. He made some good lobbed deliveries to Kruise.
