Interestingly the Denver Nuggets looked on their way to clinch their 9th straight win when they were leading 79-65 in the 3rd quarter. But what led after that was pure humiliation for the home team. Michael Porter Jr led the home team with 20 points, while Nikola Jokic registered a triple-double against him name with 17 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.

The Denver Nuggets lost for the first time since acquiring Aaron Gordon at the trade deadline, which is considered by many as a move that made them a legitimate title contender. Jamal Murray missed his fourth consecutive game with a sore right knee. This was just their fourth loss in 21 games since February 27 and their first since February 24 at Toronto. The Boston Celtics chipped away after their poor start and trailed 51-45 at halftime, holding Nikola Jokic to three first-half points on 1 of 5 shooting.

Talking about the 31-3 run, Jaylen Brown started the epic run with a nifty bucket and Tatum provided the biggest highlights, including eight straight points on a trio of free throws, a jumper and a 3-pointer.
