Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury 3: Heated face-off today between the heavyweight giants ahead of trilogy bout

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will be facing off in a trilogy bout on the 24th of July, later this year.

Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury 3 will go down on the 24th of July. The pair recently agreed to a fight after an arbitrator ruled that Fury must fight Wilder in trilogy before September 2021. Just when Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua was about to be made official, the fight was shelved and a fight against Wilder was made official.


The rivalry between Fury and Wilder began back in 2018. A searing Wilder was unstoppable back then, he had won 40 fights prior to that. And, out of the 40, he had won 39 fights via. knockout alone. Not many gave Fury a chance for his first fight against Wilder in December 2018. However, Fury proved his doubters wrong as the match ended in a split decision draw. Many, even claimed that Fury should have won the fight.

Wilder and Fury were then scheduled to fight in rematch, on the 22nd of February 2020. This time at the pre-fight press conference, Fury warned Wilder that he was going to fight “fire with fire”, and had spotted a weakness in Wilder’s game. Wilder however, brushed it off, not taking ‘The Gypsy King’s claims too seriously.


As he spoke at the pre-fight press conference, Fury defeated Wilder via. TKO to go 1-0-1 up in the rivalry. And now with the trilogy fight inching closer, the pre-fight press conference is due today.

The pre-fight press conference, is scheduled at 9pm UK time, which is 1pm PT in the US. A lot of YouTube channels, and notable websites like ESPN will be streaming the press conference live. It is set to be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
