Boxing Hall Of Fame Cancels Induction Ceremony Due To Corona Virus :

The induction ceremony of Boxing Hall Of Fame has been cancelled due to COVID -19 which was scheduled for June.

The executive director of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, Ed Brophy stated that this year’s Hall Of Fame will be honored at the induction ceremony in June 2021. He also said that by honoring  two classes at a time we will be able to put all the winning combinations together for fans and  entire sport of boxing.

The Class of 2020 includes the first female honorees in Barbara Buttrick, Christy Martin, and Lucia Rijker, along with Bernard Hopkins, Juan Manuel Marquez, “Sugar” Shane Mosley, Frank Erne, and Paddy Ryan.

Also selected were promoters Lou DiBella, Kathy Duva and Dan Goossen, and journalists Bernard Fernandez and Thomas Hauser. Many boxing fans were waiting for this moment but still they wiil get a chance to see all together in 2021.
