Michael Bisping is a longtime soldier in the sport of MMA. The former Middleweight Champion and UFC Hall of Famer has not only fought the best of his days but had also won some of the significant fights as well. Moreover, he fought them all while staying clean as fresh milk when it came to having any substances inside his body to boost his performance.

Throughout his lifetime, Bisping never tested positive for once for using PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs) before, during, after his fights or even on random checking by the USADA. And throughout his career, he has fought the who’s who in Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre, Cung Le, Wanderlei Silva, Dan Henderson, Luke Rockhold, and many more. Currently holidaying in his home country of the United Kingdom, the Brit expresses his anger against those who have used unwanted substances for.

Michael Bisping came to the UK where he was giving his audience a little trip to where he used to run and train, in and around the Clitheroe Castle via his Youtube Channel. He was talking about comparisons between training now and training back in his days as an active fighter. He then talked about training smarter and how some people use PEDs to make a shortcut today.

“Unfortunately when we’re talking about shortcuts [these days], we’re talking about steroids,” said Bisping. “A lot of the people are out there doing them these days. Fortunately, with the UFC, we’ve USADA in place, The United States Anti-Doping Agency and they do a great job,” he continued.

“But unfortunately, when it comes to sports, anytime there’s big rewards world championships and a lot of money on the line, people are always going to look for a way to game the system, sadly you know. So you can’t say it’s been completely eradicated but the UFC has done a phenomenal job in doing so you know.”

Bisping then moves on to react to Jake Paul not volunteering for drug testing. “MMA Junkie just did an article and it said he [Paul] has refused a drug test for his latest fight, or not refused a drug test but didn’t allow drug testing to happen for his latest fight against Tommy Fury, which is bizarre,” he says

“He’s [Paul] has put all kinds of stipulations about ‘you gotta your change your name to Tommy Fumbles’ and this and that and there are all kinds of things and there are all kinds of stipulations in there, lots of rules and lots of work for the lawyers, to put in. But he has refused or said he doesn’t want, WADA [World Anti-Doping Agency] testing in there which is… I don’t know that’s a little suspect. If you’ve got nothing to hide… test the s**t out of whoever got nothing to hide then… We all know my stance on performance-enhancing drugs,”

Bisping finally concluded, “We’re trying to use our martial skills… it’s the man against man…may the best man win and if you’re taking steroids and you go out there and win a fight, I don’t know how you look yourself in the mirror… shame on anyone who’s done that, go f**k yourself from me, my family and Clitheroe Castle.” What do you make of Michael Bisping’s stance on steroids and other kinds of PEDs involved across combat sports? Are you as shocked as Bisping is to Jake Paul’s refusal?
