“Guys like Conor McGregor don’t hit hard” – Floyd Mayweather CONFIRMS rematch against UFC superstar is in works for 2023

The fight world might very well be in for a treat as Floyd Mayweather declares negotiations for his rematch against UFC superstar Conor McGregor is in the final stages.

Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor to date is the greatest combat sports matchup. The two superstars from two different worlds of combat sports got together to entertain the entire fight world and did it in great fashion. Following their first fight, the fans have been eager to watch the two stars get into the ring once again.

Floyd and Conor, both made fortunes for themselves after their historical cross-promotional fight. There is no reason for the two to turn down another opportunity to get together. In a recent interview with Daily Mail, the legendary boxer revealed that a rematch between the two is very close to becoming reality.

“We don’t know if it’s going to be an exhibition or a real fight, but there’s been talks of both. I would prefer an exhibition,” said Mony Mayweather talking to Daily Mail about a potential boxing rematch with Conor.

Floyd “Money” Mayweather has not stopped grinding despite calling for retirement a long time ago. The boxer is still down to fight in exhibition bouts and make a fortune for himself. The fighter has been in several exhibition matches since his retirement and the recently famous one against YouTuber Logan Paul.

Floyd has revealed in his recent interview that he will only take part in fights that he believes won’t cause him too much damage. While talking about this, Mayeather slyly takes a dig at Conor and suggests the former UFC double champ doesn’t hit hard.
