Logan Paul has never won a boxing battle and possesses significantly less pugilistic talent than his 5-0 brother Jake, but his millions of followers are eager to see him compete once more. To either see him win or lose, he puts people on the seats which is the ultimate ate goal of any prizefighter.
His last fight was in June 2021 against Floyd Mayweather, which finished in a draw after going the distance in an exhibition match. Logan is planning a comeback this year in the boxing ring and has already hinted at it in an exclusive interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour.
Meanwhile, Helwani suggested Brazilian celebrity Whinderson Nunes as a potential Logan Paul opponent. The two had decided to confront one other on social media. In his conversation with Helwani, Paul re-assured it.
In the interview he stated, “Yeah, I mean that’s what I would love to fight to be honest with you. Whinderson is huge, and we have been having a back and forth for a couple of years now and I think similarly to myself, he has pivoted into multiple careers and the kid obviously works hard.”
“He is interested in a lot of different disciplines and I think it would be an interesting match with two massive entertainers.”
Logan In June 2021, Paul fulfilled a childhood ambition by boxing all-time great Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an eight-round exhibition. Logan outperformed expectations by going the distance against the former pound-for-pound champion.
Logan was able to stay with Floyd for all eight rounds, even catching him a couple of times.
Despite going the entire eight rounds with the 50-0 boxing star, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul recently alleged that he has yet to be paid in full for the fight nearly nine months later.
Mayweather, stated that Paul must be patient since counting all the money ‘takes a while.’
“This comes with the territory,” he stated during an appearance on The Pivot Podcast.
He further states “To them, that’s real money, and I like the YouTubers. The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while.
“Nothing comes right away. I’m still collecting cheques from fights seven or eight years ago.
“They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life.”
“No, he hasn’t paid me in full”- Logan Paul on updating that he is yet to be remunerated for the Mayweather fight
In a recent interview with TMZ Logan revealed he still hasn’t been compensated for the remaining amount he was due from the Mayweather fight. It’s been 11 months since Logan boxed Floyd in the ring, and Logan is growing increasingly frustrated with the situation.
When we met up with Logan the TMZ asked him about the same to which he said he’s done talking because it’s time to see him in court.
Logan informs us, “No, he hasn’t paid me in full.” “This is absolutely true. a few million dollars short”
Floyd Mayweather’s scheduled exhibition fight against former sparring partner Don Moore in Dubai has been called off. Maybe in this time off he can address the issue and resolve the matter with Logan as he desperately goes around interviews demanding his money.
