Boxing’s fan-favorite Canelo Alvarez delivered as he promised. The legendary Mexican boxer defeated IBF champion Caleb Plant at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to become the undisputed super-middleweight champion. The fighter put on a stunning display and created history by becoming the first undisputed champion in the division.

Canelo Alvarez beat Caleb Plant via knockout in the 11th round of the fight after taming the opponent for 10 rounds straight. Stopping Plant allowed Canelo to take home WBA, WBO, WBC, and the IBF titles. There isn’t a thing that his man can’t do in the boxing ring. Not only did Canelo make history, but he also engraved his name in the history books with style and elegance.

This win had Twitter exploding as several superstars showered the Mexican with praise and compliments. The fighter now has a record of 57-1-2 in his professional career with 39 KOs in his boxing career. From Manny Pacquiao to Eddie Hearn, everyone was in awe of this man’s stunning career.

The first name that stood out among all reactions was, Manny Pacquiao. The legendary boxer had to take his hats off for the pound for pound king. “Congratulations to the pound for pound king, Canelo, on making boxing history as the first ever undisputed super middleweight champion ever. Plant put up a great fight but Canelo is just too good. Boxing is in great hands,” wrote the great Manny Pacquiao.

Gervonta Davis made a bold comparison as he called Canelo the “168 pound Davis”. “Canelo is me at 168 pounds..facts,” said Gervonta Davis.

Josh Taylor, the undisputed light-welterweight champion was all praise for the new undisputed champion.

“I don’t know what people were watching back home going by some of the tweets, but at ringside that was a methodical beat down from Canelo. I gave Plant 2-3 rounds tops, he was being pushed around the ring far too easily,” wrote Josh Taylor who was present in the arena.
