Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 is inching closer. The trilogy bout between the two heavyweights will go down on the 9th of October at the T-Mobile in Paradise, Nevada. ‘The Gypsy King’ will be defending his WBC and The Ring Heavyweight titles, and will look forward to coming out unscathed.

With only a couple of days left for the fight, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder have arrived at the hotel in Vegas. Speaking to BT Sport in an interview, upon his arrival with his crew, Fury joked about causing trouble to Wilder since he would be staying close to his room.

“I will be phoning his phone up” – Tyson Fury

Fury was quoted as saying, “I’m going to be terrorising him all night! I will be phoning his phone up and knocking at his door and running away. Coz, that’s how we roll.” [firstsportz.com]

Wilder has looked a different man this time around. There has been very little talk. He has remained quiet all along, and looks to be in the best shape of his life. The two haven’t fought since their last fight in February 2020, which took place in the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Fury claimed that he felt Wilder had improved. He said: “I think he’s improved. I think he is improved as a fighter maybe. We’ll find out. But, if he hasn’t improved, I know I’m at 40-50% of what I was the first time and the second time, so I’m expecting an improvement. If he hasn’t improved, then it should be a really easy night, because I know I’ve improved.”
