Legendary West Indies batsman Brian Lara, who is known as one of the greatest cricketers ever, celebrates his birthday today (May 2).
As the cricketer celebrates his 51st birthday, Twitter barraged him with birthday wishes and whopping tributes.
Sachin Tendulkar, a very dear of Lara tweeted “Wishing my fellow Taurean a very happy birthday. Was great fun catching up with you recently. Have a great one, Prince! Look forward to seeing you soon. Take care.”
They were last glimpsed in the Road Safety World Series, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic
Harbhajan, who had played against him, tweeted that “Happy birthday to the most dashing, dominating, stylish, left-handed batsman that has played the game… Prince of Trinidad A top man @BrianLara Glad I played cricket in the era where these legends played the game and inspired.
Taking to Twitter Yuvraj Singh, who wrote, “A man known to set unbelievable records on the field and humanitarian benchmarks in life, wishing you the very best on your special day. Happy birthday Sir Brian ?? @BrianLara.
Shikhar Dhawan sent wishes to the Prince of Trinidad & Tobago and said to complete the dance lessons together.
“Happy birthday to the legend, the Prince of Trinidad & Tobago and a great human being @BrianLara Hope you have a beautiful year ahead and soon we’ll do our dance lessons, ” he tweeted.
KL Rahul also poured wishes to Brian Lara and tweeted, “Happy Birthday #legend @BrianLara

The record of the highest individual score in Test cricket is named after Lara who played a knock of 400 runs against England in 2004 at the Antigua Recreation Stadium and also carries the title for the highest individual score ever in first-class cricket (501*) against Durham at Edgbaston in 1994.
Known as the Master of Cricket, Lara scored 22,358 runs and 53 International centuries in his career which ended in 2007.
The left-handed batsman played 131 Tests and 299 ODIs for west indies and scored 11,953 runs in Test cricket and 10,405 runs in the 50-over format.
