Bumrah falls to 9th spot, Kohli retains 2nd spot in latest ICC Test rankings

India pacer Jasprit Bumrah dropped to the ninth position in the latest ICC Test bowler’s ranking. Indian captain Virat Kohli meanwhile, maintained his second spot behind Steve Smith.

Kohli kept the spot with 886 points while batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane remained at the eight and 10th spot respectively.

Pakistan batsman Babar Azam, who had achieved the fifth position in February this year, retained the same after his brilliant knock of 47 in the second Test against England.

Ben Stokes and Joe Root maintained their positions

Azam’s teammates Abid Ali and Mohammad Rizwan rise up to 49th and 75th spot respectively.

In the bowlers’ chart, England fast bowlers Broad moved up one slot to second. Fellow pacer James Anderson achieved 14th position with figures of 3 for 60.

Compatriot Ben Stokes and skipper Joe Root have maintained their 7th and 9th spot in batsman’s ranking respectively.

India continued to dominate the World Test Championship point table with 360 points. They are followed by Australia (296) and England retained third position with 297 points. Pakistan remained on fifth with 153 points.
