Timo Baumgartl (6.0/10):  Was probably the worst defender in the 3 center-back defence line. Was lacking pace. Did a desperate foul in the first half and thus got yellow-card

Bastian Ockzipka (7.8/10): He was arguably the best man on the pitch for his team. Created a number of chances. Had a few key passes as well.

Sheraldo Becker (6.8/10): Showed good passing ability. Was very physical at the midfield. Had 2 shots off target.

Grischa Promel (6.7/10):  He was dribbling the ball very well. His passing range was decent.

Levin Oztunali (6.6/10): Had very less involvement in the game. Was subbed off at the 62nd minute.

Sven Michel (6.9/10): Tried his best to score for his team. Was fouled twice and was caught offside once. Subbed off at the second half.

Mats Hummels (7.2/10): The German had a lot of touches in the game. Was unbeatable in aerial tussles but lost possession a number of times.

Dan-Axel Zagadou (7.3/10): He played a good part tonight. Kept the opponent’s little attacking threat in check.

Raphael Guerreiro (7.9/10):  An decent show from the fullback. Did not have much threat from the wings. Provided a few good long balls and scored the third goal of the game.

Jude Belligham (7.0/10): A below-average show for the youngster. Was trying to overdo things in attack. Missed a great chance at the 60th minute.

Axel Witsel (7.2/10):  The Belgian was everywhere on the pitch from joining his team in the attack to helping out his defense at the back. Fine game for him at the middle of the park.

Mahmoud Dahoud (7.3/10):  He had a decent game tonight. He got very little chance to push ahead with the ball and held the midfield position more often.

Donyell Malen (7.2/10): He was involved in many attacks throughout the game. Took a great run in the first half that lead to the second goal for his team.

Julian Brandt (6.9/10): He was good on the ball for Dortmund. Dropped back in his half many times to carry the ball forward. A fine display from him.

Marco Reus (8.4/10): The captain had a great game overall. Was moving the ball around well. Took two shots in the first half and scored both times.
