Now we are at the much anticipated finale where we will see dazzling skills and thrilling contests.

Tai Tzu Ying fans have been eying this tournament with mix feeling of anticipation and fear. She is a warrior and no one can play like her. She is an artist with her racket and plays at creative level beyond rivals imagination. Altough she just won three tournament this year and none of them were super 1000 level. Prediction – Semifinal ( But I want her in final)

Chen Yu Fei has an habit of converting final appearances into wins. She has won five tournament after winning All England championship in march. She can counter any opposition style of play and it will be a shock if she isn’t in final.

Ratchanok Intenon is always a contender with brilliant skill set and have a gritty never die attitude. She is putting a lot of hard work to improve her endurance. Prediction- If get a good start then Semifinals

Akane Yamaguchi had an year of contrast, as the time passed she kept fading away. Her triumph over Sindhu in final at Indonesia open and Japan open title are top moments of the year for her. But after that she had some injury problem and endured a miserable few months with shock first round exits from unseed players. Prediction – Round robin group

Nozomi Okuhara reached five finals this year and lost all of them. She is one of most consistent and popular player of the year. her game is evolving and she is eying podium finish at Olympics. Prediction – Final

Busanan Ongbamrungpham has cemented her position as Thailand’s number 2 and this should see her in Tokyo 2020. Throughout this year she was unseeded and won against tricky opponents and tough matches. This tournament will help heras she has to fight right from the start. Prediction – Need to fight hard in round robin stage

He Bing Jiao won Korea open this year to end a three year drought. She has skills but fails to to land title in highly competitive matches. She need to work hard if want to go beyond round robin stage.

Last competitor none other than Defending Champion , World Champion P V Sindhu. Her world championship win guaranteed her a place in world tour finals. She is renounced a “Big Tournament Player”. She found it hard to win small tournament and had numerous first round exits.Her coach Kim left her right after the world championship and after that she has been struggling. It will be interesting to see if she can defend her title.
