Carlo Ancelotti took charge of Everton in December 2019. The 61 year old led Everton to a 12th place finish last season. This season many anticipated that Ancelotti has some serious plans going forward after he signed James Rodriguez, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan in the summer transfer window.

Carlo Ancelotti also turned his striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin into a goal machine. Calvert-Lewin was also named the September’s Player of the Month. He also went on to score in his debut for England in the friendly against Wales.

After being named the Premier League’s Manager of the month Ancelotti thanked his team in twitter. Ancelotti said, “This is a great achievement for this month. I have to share this recognition with my team because they started the season well. We want to continue and win this award again. Thanks to all.”

Everton will face Liverpool after the International break. Carlo Ancelotti’s men will be favourites heading into the clash as they are in red hot form. Apart from it the defending champions will find it hard to perform against the current table toppers after suffering a humiliating 7 – 2 loss against Aston Villa.
