English shot-stopper Marcus Bettinelli has joined Chelsea Football Club as a free agent on a two year term until June 2023, the club can confirm. Bettinelli, been out of contract at Fulham this summer, joins Chelsea and will be adding to their goalkeeping resources following the departure of third choice Argentine goalie Willy Caballero. The 6ft 4in shot-stopper, who assumes a commanding position under the sticks, spent more than a decade at Craven Cottage, as he made 120 appearances for the Whites and has also represented the England U-21 team earlier in his career.
