Initially Burhan was more aggressive and was leading 5-2 within 2 minutes of the final. But Gurpreet came back strongly and he took lead of 6-5 right before half time. He continue attacking and extended his lead after half time to 8-5. Later Turkish tried to score but failed and Gurpreet won gold medal. Sajan wins Bronze In Greco Roman 77kg category Sajan won bronze medal after defeating Emrah Kus of Turkey by 7-0. Divya Kakran lost her bronze medal match Divya Kakran lost her bronze medal match in 68kg category against Danielle Suzanne of Canada. She looked tired and helpless after first round and Canadian won by technical superiority. Anshu Malik wins silver medal In 57kg Gold medal match Anshu lost to Odunayo Adekuoroye of Nigeria by technical superiority. Nigerian proved to be too strong and finished the match within two minutes. This is second silver for India at this tournament. Anshu journey to final of 57kg Anshu will play her gold medal match against Odunayo Adekuoroye of Nigeria. On her way to final she defeated Jenna Burkhart in semifinal. Anshu won by 10-0 in just over one minute. She outplayed World Champions today as she defeated Linda Morais in pre-quarter. She was all attacking from the start and gave no doubt to any opponent.
