Matt Cardona (formerly known as Zack Ryder in WWE) is engaged to Chelsea Green. In June 2020, WWE wanted to shoot a segment around a pool, with Otis and Mandy Rose for Smackdown. They asked Green if they could use it, but Cardona refused.

Matt had been released by WWE just two months before this request was made. While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Writing with Russo, Vince Russo explained the situation in detail – “See, bro, that’s huge. You and I laugh, ‘What do you mean we can’t use the pool?!’ You and I laugh… Bro, they [WWE] never forget stuff. If you look at that relationship [Chelsea Green and WWE] and pinpoint, ‘Okay, when did the problems for me start?’ it’s the second he didn’t let them use the pool. Now they were gonna take it out on her.

Russo agreed with Cardona and said that anyone would’ve done the same in this situation. “Matt said what any of us would have said. He said, ‘What? Are you out of your minds?’ And that’s what any of us would have said.”

Chelsea Green is currently under a 90-day non-compete clause with WWE. She has revealed that she is planning to start her YouTube channel and will also be seen in a movie soon.
