Currently, Sinner is on a 15-match win streak. Last month, he claimed his second Grand slam after beating Taylor Fritz in straight sets in the US Open final. At the China Open, he struggled in his two opening matches and had to come from behind to snatch the wins. Sinner finally found his rhythm against Jiri Lecheka in the quarterfinals, winning 6-2, 7-6(6). He then beat Yunchakete Bu 6-3, 7-6 in the semifinals.

On the other hand, Carlos Alcaraz claimed his first title this season at the Indian Wells Masters. He went on to win the French Open and Wimbledon before claiming the singles silver medal at the Paris Olympics. The 21-year-old struggled during the North American hard court swing, winning just one match across two tournaments.

However, Alcaraz bounced back emphatically at the Laver Cup. He proved to be the deciding star player as he helped Team Europe clinch its fifth title at the event. Alcaraz arrived in Beijing with the momentum and is yet to drop a set. He needed only 59 minutes to beat Tallon Griekspoor in the second round and then produced a classic performance to beat Daniil Medvedev in straight sets in the semifinals.

Jannik Sinner vs. Carlos Alcaraz: Match Prediction

The last time Sinner beat Alcaraz was in the semifinals of the 2023 China Open.

Sinner has a 15-match win streak while Alcaraz is on eight. The Italian has already won six titles this season and Alcaraz has clinched three. At the China Open, Sinner has dropped two sets while Alcaraz is yet to drop one. Both are going into the match full of confidence but Alcaraz has an advantage because of his unique style of play. He should be able to come out on top, though it will not be an easy ride.

Match Prediction: Carlos Alcaraz to win in three sets.
