The fifth and final T20I between India and England produced a moment of fielding brilliance as Chris Jordan and Jason Roy combined to produce a stunning relay catch. The catch proved to be a crucial one due to the fact that it was the dismissal of Suryakumar Yadav who was looking dangerous at the crease along with captain Virat Kohli who was opening the innings for the first time in the series.

India dropped KL Rahul for the match and chose to bring in T Natarajan for the match due to the former’s wretched run of form that has seen him record three single digit scores including two ducks. England on the other hand were unchanged and their captain Eoin Morgan had no qualm in winning the toss and choosing to bowl first.

In the 14th over bowled by Adil Rashid, India were going strong with Suryakumar Yadav looking especially dangerous and taking on every delivery. His stay was cut short when he took on the leggie and tried to deposit him over long on. The ball travelled towards the region between long on and deep midwicket. Jordan came running in from long on and took a stunning one-handed grab.

As he was travelling at high speed, Jordan was headed for the boundary ropes and hence, he showed presence of mind to lob the ball to the deep midwicket fielder Jason Roy who completed the catch with glee and reacted with awe at the piece of athleticism.
