On the other hand, Tsitsipas got a bye in the first round. In the second round, the 22-year old Greek brushed aside the challenge of South African Kevin Anderson, winning the match 6-1, 6-3. However, his biggest test came in the Round of 16 when he went up against ‘Ace King’ John Isner. The match lived to its expectations, the World No.6 eventually winning it 7-6, 7-6.

Reilly Opelka vs Stefanos Tsitsipas: Prediction

Stefanos Tsitsipas

At 6 feet 11 inches, Reilly Opelka is the joint tallest player ever to play the ATP event along with Ivo Karlovic. Tsitsipas played Isner, who is 6’10”, in the previous match and found the going tough against the American. Playing an even taller opponent can be a worry for the 2019 Nitto ATP Finals champion. Having said that, the Greek should be the winner, even if he requires to spend every ounce of his energy against the giant from USA.

Match Prediction: Stefanos Tsitsipas defeats Reilly Opelka in two sets, with one or more going into the tiebreak.
