CM Punk praises WWE Hall of Famer

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk regularly interacts with his fans via Twitter Q&A Sessions. In his latest sessions, Punk immensely praised WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg.

In his Twitter sessions with his fans, Punk is asked various questions in variety of topics. Some of them are even based on pro-wrestling. One of his fans asked him that who was his favorite WWE Superstar in 2020.

Punk gave an answer that is bound to be surprising for many. He hailed Goldberg as his favorite 2020 WWE wrestler. Punk even went to say that Goldberg is the smartest man in the room.

Goldberg is going after the WWE Championship

The WWE Hall of Famer is currently 52 years old, and is still a fan-favorite. He appears in a couple of matches of every year. During his recent run with WWE, he has even defeated the likes of Brock Lesnar, Triple H and The Fiend Bray Wyatt.

Throughout his time on WWE, Goldberg has won numerous Championship. But the one major WWE title that still eludes him is the WWE Championship. Goldberg will be facing Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble.

The match has received backlash on social media. As the fans fear that WWE might put the title on Goldberg, as they have done on almost every occasion. Despite the outcome, the match has the potential to be one of the best matches of the night.

Royal Rumble airs live on 31^st January, 2021.
